Op zondag 24 mei verzorgen de leerlingen een grote presentatie in het Haarlemmermeerse Bos. Op deze plek vindt u de tijden en locaties.
Informatie voor leerlingen en hun ouders wordt gedeeld via onze nieuwsbrief, deze website en tijdens de lessen. Via onze social media krijgt u daarnaast een inkijkje in het volledige productieproces.
Lekker even anders!
Docenten zijn al weken bezig maar nu hebben we akkoord van de gemeente: onze voorstelling staat dit seizoen in het Haarlemmermeerse Bos!
Waarom? Omdat theaters duurder en duurder worden dachten wij het eens over een andere boeg te gooien. Moesten wij doorgaans 20,- tot 25,- voor een ticket vragen om uit de kosten te komen, halen we nu de grootste kostenpost uit onze productie. Volgend jaar bestaat de Dance & Ballet Company 30 jaar: dan gaan we weer het grote toneel op!
Andere reden is dat er steeds meer wedstrijden worden gedanst en veel ouders al geregeld in een theater zitten. Kan dat ook niet verfrissend anders? Jazeker!
Ons hele concept wordt nu gericht op duurzaamheid en natuur. Het gaat om dansbeleving, samenwerking, muziek, om-denken en even verder denken. Doet u mee?
Yoga kinderen bijten de spits af
Yoga hoort natuurlijk niet op een toneel maar wat een super locatie is dan het bos? Zij doen dus ook graag zeker mee en draaien de rollen eens om: de kinderen geven de yogales aan volwassenen en kinderen. Dus: u bent van harte welkom: matje mee & vestje aan!

A nice change of pace!
Teachers have been working on it for weeks, but now we have the approval of the municipality: our performance will be in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos this season!
Why? Because theaters are getting more and more expensive, we thought we’d try a different approach. While we usually had to charge €20 to €25 for a ticket to cover the costs, we now cover the majority of our expenses through our production. Next year, the Dance & Ballet Company will be celebrating its 30th anniversary: then we’ll be back on the big stage!
Another reason is that we’re participating in more and more competitions, and many parents already regularly visit the theater. Couldn’t that be a refreshing change? Absolutely!
Our entire concept is now focused on sustainability and nature. It’s about the dance experience, collaboration, music, thinking outside the box, and thinking outside the box. Will you join us?
300 people?
Yes, absolutely. A larger audience isn’t welcome in the Haarlemmermeer forest. That’s why we’re dividing everything into segments, so not only the dance but also the audience will practically blend in with nature. The schedule runs from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. A preliminary schedule can be found on the website. Not everyone is on it yet!
Yoga Kids Kick Off
Yoga doesn’t belong on a stage, of course, but what a fantastic location the woods would be! So they’re happy to join in and switch roles: the kids teach yoga to both adults and children. So, you’re very welcome: bring your mat and wear a cardigan!

The timeline isn’t clear yet, but preschoolers will be the first to dance.
We’ll actually start with preschoolers at 11:00 AM. The three groups (Wednesday 3:00 PM, Friday 2:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM) will be grouped together.
